- looking for people and content for the specific subject both using your personal contacs and by working the ommunity of the subject. (subjects can be PHP, Ruby, MySQL, VCS just to name a few. bring your own ideas!) Both the local community and the international community.
- thinking about talk ideas alone and together with the potential speakers
- convincing people about the talk
- once the proposal dead line is over helping the conferenc content manager (that will be probably me) selecting the talks in your subject.
- once they are selected keeping in contact with the speakers nagging them (if needed) to submit the presentation in time and in a good format so they can be included in the printed proceedings
